I have enjoyed seeing the counter go up as we have gone through this challenge, and appreciate all the new comments and readers. It has been a learning experience for me. Best of all, I have worked out more than I ever have in a month for a very long time.
I will be continuing with my personal challenge, and only have 5 workouts left for the month. Yay! Look for updates as I complete my workouts over on Facebook.

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 24
I am cooling down after my workout, and thinking about how holding this challenge has been beneficial to me in keeping my own tank full. Have you been filling your tank this month? What have you been doing to keep your energy level high enough that you are able to give?
Being accountable is a major factor for busy moms to take care of themselves. It's not often you hear of a mom saying she takes care of herself so she can take care of her family. More often what you hear is that although it's important, "I just don't have the time."
In this challenge, being accountable to my readers has proven to be spreading to other areas of my self care. The accomplishment of now having only FIVE workouts left for the month is so exciting! I have worked out more this month than I have in a very long time, and I feel GOOD.
I had the privilege of meeting with some super sharp and fun gals tonight for a "paperwork" themed organizing workshop. We will be holding a different themed workshop on a semi-monthly basis. I can't wait to share more information on things from Menus and Meals, to Finances, to Holiday Planning, to Self Care, Time Management, and more!
If you are not local to me, be sure to RSVP for the events anyway, so you can receive free recordings of these sessions! What pressing organizing topic would you like to hear about next month?

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 23!
Wow! Only a week left in this challenge! What an exciting time it has been. I have enjoyed meeting new readers and getting feedback from long-standing friends and readers!
Thank you so much for being in this space and sharing your journey of growth with me! I get so tickled when I hear all the awesome things you are doing. If you are one of the ones who is still being shy, stop it!
I was very touched today by someone who said they cried when they read part of my story. You help others overcome their own overwhelm when you tell yours, too. I like to say that a busy mom needs steams, support, and SISTERS to get organized and established!
I did my workout earlier this evening, and am always amazed at how much better I feel right after doing it and how much more clearly I am able to think! A couple times,I have worked out close to midnight! It helps relieve so much tension and prepares me for rest after a looooong day!
Did you know that this challenge was created not only because of my desire to work out faithfully this month, but also because of a challenge from a mentor of mine to post to my blog 30 times this month? Did you also notice that I
I have missed a few days?
That's where you come in: I need your help if I am going to reach 30 posts in 30 days! If you are a faithful reader, but have never commented, now is definitely NOT the time to keep waiting. Would you be willing to share several paragraphs on how reading Establshed Ways has supported you in your Busy Moms organizing journey? Stories like these are so encouraging, and I will have a choice of helpful gifts for you if you submit a qualified entry! What funny, touching, or encouraging story do you have to share? It could make a difference for another mom tomorrow! I know every comment and bit of grateful feedback I receive is positively uplifting to me! Will you take a chance and share? If so, comment below or email me at shelleywritesu at gmail dot com!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 20!
Woo hoo! Just finished my Day 20 workout! I love how T-Tapp makes me feel!
How are you doing on your personal care challenge for this month! Weigh in on this if you haven't! Remember, with ten entries, we are giving away a seat to our Group Coaching Event coming up May 1st!
Today, I want to talk briefly about three things that help me get a handle on overwhelm whenever it threatens.
-Tame Tension with Toothbrush Tasks (If you are new, this means "chores." )
This means that briefly working on something I have to do anyway can bring relief with a quick and easy sense of accomplishment. You can then ride that wave and get on to more things. An example of this is that frankly, I am experiencing growing pains in my business, and was getting overwhelmed with other things needing to be done when I first sat down to write today. So, I stopped and did my workout first. In the fifteen minutes spent, my body and mind was more relaxed, and when I sat back down, PRESTO, inspiration. Be sure not to spend too long on these things though. A good rule of thumb is fifteen minutes.
-Strategizing in My Categorized Journal
Just sitting down for a few minutes to "download" what's on my mind can be exhilarating. I remember one time, sitting down and throwing away about 2/3 of stuff I had in my "business journal." It was so freeing to realize that what needed to be done which was important was not as sizable as I remembered in my mind. Journaling feelings, too, and "nagging" your journal instead of family members is vital to keeping a grateful attitude!
-Hit List Disappearing Act
Actively choosing simply not to do something today and move it off our hit list also serves to lighten the load tremendously. We expect too much of ourselves, and get stuck in guilt instead of telling ourselves the truth. I experienced this today, when I realized that due to transportation and time issues, I would not be able to send out some invitations as planned. Rather than whine about it, I told myself the truth: "Hmm. This would not have happened if I had simply made it a priority to do it sooner. I'll just pick up the phone and leave voicemails for my friends." End of story.
These three tactics can save a lot of stress and guilt. Which one speaks most to you in this self care challenge?

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 19
Day 19 is over, and I ended the day with my workout. This is what I love about the T-tapp workout. I have found it okay to do before going to bed. Sure I broke a little sweat, but every muscle in my body has released the tension of what for me was a really tough day! Perfect for going to sleep in my book!
This leaves me with five workouts for the rest of the month, and I am feeling pretty good. Just fifteen minutes ago, I was aching from three skipped days. I know without this workout, my tank would be closer to empty.
The point of this challenge is forming a new "tank-filling" habit. New habits with which we strengthen our own body, heart, or mind can support us in reaching our goals for our family and beyond. On the tough days, habits under-gird us and prevent burnout.
Thank you so much for reading and if you haven't weighed in with what you are working on this month to take care of yourself, remember to do so and get in on the drawing for a free seat to our rapidly approaching group coaching.
Being accountable is an investment in success. Remember, you profit most from what you resist!
What "should" you be doing for yourself this month that you could use a little encouragement for?

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 18
Well, I did the math, and it's time to regroup! There aren't enough days left in the month for me to complete 21 workouts unless I do more than one, so I am defining a new goal of 6 MORE workouts before the end of the month!
I am so excited! I have already worked out 5 times more than in any other recent month. By the way, this break I took due to being sick has taken it's toll! I feel achy again, and can't wait to reap the energizing benefits of my T-tapp workout again!
What kind of workout routine do you do that doesn't take up too much time? Or is your challenge something else?
By the way, hop over to the Facebook page to see what I cleared out of my closet yesterday!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 17
Do it differently! A favorite way of mine to squash overwhelm is to simply do something differently. Having a tendency to be too businesslike, I find that forsaking the "busyness" for a break helps a great deal. I did just that last night---did you notice?!
Today, I am skipping the vacuuming, mopping, toilet scrubbing, and dusting that I had planned. Instead, I am going straight to working in and organizing my linen closet and master closet, and doing my paper flow!
Working backward like this works in the kitchen for daily stuff. For example, I almost always clean the counters, put things back in the fridge, and make the space AROUND the sink look great BEFORE doing the dishes! That way, if I get a (did I say if? pshaw!) mommy interruption, when I get back to the sink, I can say, "ALL I need to do is the dishes!"
Break the rules. Mop the floor even though the counter is covered in crumbs and someone is coming home muddy in an hour. Vacuum before clearing the table. Dust last using furniture polish or a dampened rag. Skip all of the above and spend the same amount of time doing other projects.
How about making the bed? How can you do that differently? Here are a couple of ideas:
-throw the pillows at the head of the bed and pull the comforter over the mess and you're done (I did it this way for a VERY long time)
-do it very nicely and tightly at 5 PM
-if you don't have the bed made by lunch, wash the sheets!
-Make it at bedtime, and sit in bed and read to wind down.
-Teach your child to make it with you
-Have a contest with your child to see who can "make" their bed first!
I once heard a time-managment guru say that overwhelm is often NOT because you have too much on your plate, but because you are not tackling what's on it! Are the chores you are using as excuses NOT to do those unfinished projects as important as you say they are? If so, you likely are doing a good enough job on them to SKIP them once and get something different done!
What creative difference will you use to help you overcome overwhelm and accomplish something today?

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 15
Wow! We are halfway through the challenge, and I may not type fast enough to have this post actually be on day 15, ha ha! We do need at least ten participants to hold the drawing for a free seat, so keep those personal challenge weigh-ins coming! I want to give a group coaching seat to a busy mama who could use some motivation, accountability, and inspiration in her organizing journey.
Since I have been a little sick, I have taken a break for two days from working out. I am SO THRILLED at the benefits that I am already experiencing from the increased physical activity, including a decrease in fatigue, an increase in clarity, and little or none of the usual aches and pains.
Today, I would like to recommend a great book for self care, Marla Cilley's (aka FlyLady) Sink Reflections. The book may seem not to be a self care book at first, as the main content of the book has to do with doing your household chores and keeping your home in order. However, the theme of doing those things FOR YOURSELF because you deserve to enjoy your home and the fruits of your labor is unmistakable!
Before finding organizing solutions for ADD, this book was a turning point for me in being willing to stop blaming others for disorder and chaos, and owning the joy of accomplishment for myself. If you struggle with "keeping up," this is the book for you!
What is your personal challenge? Join the fun at the halfway point today!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 14
Welcome to Day 14 of our challenge. I may give myself a break on working out today, being a little under the weather. But hey, I have already worked out five times more than I did last month, ha ha!
This month has been amazing for me personally on many levels. During this time, a sharp uptick in business appointments, a job change for my husband, a complete upheaval of our regular schedule, spending time with friends we haven't seen in years, meeting fabulous new ones, and much more have moved us well outside our comfort zone!
Change is uncomfortable, but exciting, too... I am so glad to be accountable to you my readers, and for seeing so many busy moms encouraged and strengthened.
If you haven't already, weigh in on your personal challenge for this month to be entered for the drawing for a free seat to our Busy Mom Group Coaching Personal Event starting May 1st!
I want to thank you for being a reader here at Established Ways, and would love to hear from you about what you want to hear more of from me. I am also looking for readers who would like to contribute a testimonial or article relating to self-care during this challenge!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 12
It amazing the changes that take place when you take charge of changing YOURSELF and stop blaming others and your circumstances for where you are in life. This hit home with me again the other day when I saw a beautiful blog maintained by a young girl with terminal cancer. She was sharing her bucket list and photos of her now abbreviated journey in life.
So many accomplishments are placed on hold indefinitely due to overestimating the effort required to complete them. This causes loads of regret and frustration. If you find yourself always having an excuse, consider this saying: "I have learned that I can long after I can't!"
Don't pause here to feel guilty. Rather, take stock and renew your commitment to living by your priorities! Be willing not to take yourself too seriously. Equally important in the journey toward productivity and organization for busy moms is willingness to learn. You don't know what you don't know, so "fail fast and often," to quote a favorite business mentor of mine!
One such thing that I did not know growing up was my love and ability for languages. In high school, and even college/seminary, I took NO language courses. It was not until I was completely immersed in a foreign country and thousands of miles from my comfort zone that I discovered this love and my gift! Every uncomfortable learning experience you reject keeps you from discovering beautiful gifts in your life.
I gained confidence in my productivity skills early in my organizing journey, but the confidence for organizing didn't come until I came across solutions for people with ADD. I didn't want to take the time to make things look nice: I just wanted to be able to find them FAST!
These systems have worked for a very long time, but would probably give your typical professional organizer a stomachache to leave untouched.
Recent changes in our family life have rendered the ADD systems I used for laundry and linen obsolete. Although I felt making things more "pretty" would be outside my comfort zone, I was delighted that with the right products, it felt pretty good. I am quickly defecting over to the "pretty"
side.
My during photos (That's right, there's no such thing as before and after! Life is "during" until death!) will probably shock, and hopefully ENCOURAGE you! Organizing and productivity are LEARNED skills, and not inborn:

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 11
I can't believe Day 11 of the Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge is almost over!
Throughout this challenge, I have noticed my energy level is higher, and my mood is more even. I feel great! Of course, this may also have something to do with the fact that excitement and activity is building at Established Ways.
Well, today is very special, because when I hit "publish" on this post, it will be MY 100th POST on this blog!!!!!!! Woo hoo!
In honor of this auspicious occasion, I am offering a free mini-breakthrough session to the first busy mama (who is not a current client) who comments on this blog with her worst organizing hangup and goal for this month's challenge!
Let the fun begin!
My personal challenge is to complete 21 workouts in 30 days.

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 10!
Thanks to those of you who have been participating in the Fill Your Tank Challenge. I for one and so glad to have this challenge to keep me plugged in to my personal goals! It's a very busy time for Established Ways, and we are growing and stretching!
I have been struck once again lately by how often I get apologized to for normal "mom" stuff, and how family unfriendly our surroundings can be. I hear "I'm so sorry" WAAAY to much from moms, both strangers and moms that are already friends. One place I most recently heard it was in the checkout line, as a cute little girl was slow getting out of the cart, and was temporarily "in my way." (To be doubly clear, I didn't perceive it as such.)
Don't get me wrong, I do think that we should train our children not to scream in the checkout aisle and get in people's way in the grocery store. However, if they are less than socially "perfect," and I have done my best effort to help them arrive in good form, I would simply say with a smile, " we are working on that." (What bugs me is the constant feeling around me that children are just an inconvenience.)
This is an example of putting too much on our own plates. When you emotionally take responsibility for how your child chooses to respond even though you are training them properly, you are weighing too heavily upon yourself!
On the flip side, if you have not done everything ahead of time that you can do to be prepared, the preparation alone is where you messed up. Tell yourself the truth. You must still be consistent with your child and make it clear to them where they fell short of your expectations in a factual way. However, the interaction is less likely to be meltdown-ish if you can get over yourself, and own up to your lack of preparation. That enables you to move on to addressing their behavior, or perhaps more importantly, their needs.
This is Day 10 of the Fill Your Tank Challenge! Weigh in and be accountable. I will check in with a comment when I have finished my workout!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Day 9
The T-Tapp workout is getting more doable as I repeat it, and I can really feel it in my core. It has a great effect in fighting fatigue.
The first time I did the Primary Back Stretch from the workout, I felt a heat go through my body a few minutes after I got done. It really feels like going to the chiropractor! That warm feeling that you get from working out usually comes after a very long aerobic workout, but you achieve that more quickly with this one.
I frequently feel my neck "popping" and my back adjusting while doing this workout, and don't have "tightness" and "knots" throughout my busy days.
Once thing I have learned about posture from doing the T-Tapp workout is to focus on pinching my shoulder blades. If I feel like slumping, or am fatigued, I point my thumbs back in a double hitchhiking pose to get my shoulders up and back again. It helps a lot.
As late as it is, I am going to do my workout now. I know it will help this busy mom sleep better. When I get done, I will only have 15 workouts left for April!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 8
Today, I had the privilege of spending quality girlfriend time with a busy mom friend. We had such a great time! She shared with me how she was consciously letting go of things which did not serve her priorities. What she shared made me think of these three ways you can ramp up self care in the coming week and throughout our Fill Your Tank Challenge.
Let Go
My heart was thrilled to see how much lighter my friend was from letting go of obligations and thoughts which had been weighing her down for some time. For me, letting go of the day's "craziness" to spend 15 minutes (by the timer, I kid you not!) with my son at a butterfly refuge park last week brought similar lightening and refreshing.
Take Ten
My boy has been up in arms over the past two weeks from the excitement in our lives right now. If you have a toddler, you know you can tell when things are exceptional by the responses of your young kids. He just glowed during those fifteen minutes at the park, and the time passed much more slowly than seemed possible!
Have a Project or Goal
For me, working out this month has been enjoyable, because it is something I have created to help myself, not just with fitness, but during this incredible season of change. It grounds me and keeps me thankful and sane. Plus, I can see progress!
It's not too late to share your self care goal for April and join us in this Fill Your Tank Challenge!
What will you do to fill your own tank? Remember, you can't give on empty.
My goal is to work out 21 out of 30 days in April.

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 7
I am STILL convinced: Get up first, period. It takes the "crazy" down to a dull roar. The extra 15 minutes or more will help you get your thoughts in order. In each family, the schedule is different, but for us, Saturday is a day in which I can usually "fudge" a little on this rule. "Sleeping in" today still did not seem wise, as my alarm clock turned out to be a "minor mom emergency." You know, the type of thing that has you sleeping soundly one moment, and launching out of bed like a missile the next? Yes, you know it! (I am having vague memories from when I was four and getting my brother to cut my hair! Since it was cut right where my cowlick was, it was a long time before my hair was back to normal......)
Around six months ago, I had a health issue come up which made me very low energy. Resting more seemed like the best choice at the time, but it resulted in my struggling until after the new year! to reinstate that habit for OVERALL self care benefits.
Getting up early has a powerful effect on productivity. If you have a home-based business, high-focus tasks can be completed in the quiet time. Personal devotion is a great way to start the day. Some people exercise during this time.
I must admit that I lean toward working during the magical moments before the house is no longer quiet. However, during this challenge, I have found myself doing something for, well, myself. Cleaning up my nails, doing an extra beauty treatment, etc.
Recent circumstances in our family have made me familiar with a new kind of overwhelm. What I have known in the past has been strongly attached to emotions and frustrations. This was more of a mechanical experience, such as when a fire hydrant is burst and the water is pouring out. It cannot physically hold in the water anymore due to the breach...
I am also reminded of a time in my life nearly two decades ago when everything was "going wrong." I was walking to an appointment, and suddenly stopped. I had unconsciously been humming a catchy tune of praise! Hunh?
Have you ever heard the illustration about being like a swan, and how they look so serene, but they are paddling like mad under the water? Well, I want to turn the swan on its head, because so often, the paddling is what we and others see.
With Established Ways (and God's grace), you can be serene on the inside.
Don't Just Get Organized! Get Established!

Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 6
Ok, so I am tired. REALLY tired! I haven't worked out yet, I haven't blogged yet (oh, doing that now), and I need to get to the dry cleaners before they close down for the holiday weekend.
We have had out of town guests, my husband has suddenly had to go from working at home, to working in an office in this one car, home based business owning family!
But today I talked to a sweet new client, who just is so determined to make a change for herself and her family. I got choked up talking to her, and thinking of those of you who read and share the changes you are making.
I am so blessed and thankful for each of you. Please comment and enter this challenge. I can't wait to gift one of you with a seat to our upcoming Group Coaching.
I am still going to work out tonight, I promise!
Yikes! I have 20 minutes to wake up my son and get to the dry cleaners. We are of course going to stop at the park for fun along the way home!
I. get. you.
This is me being real. Have a great holiday weekend! You are awesome.
This is me telling you that by midnight tonight come spills, legos, or meltdown, I WILL have.....

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge: Day 5
I had an amazing day today, and got lots of exercise schlepping my son the park on my bike with his bike trailer. As it was around a 5 mile ride, I am going to count that as my exercise for the day, but am still looking forward to my T-Tapp Primary Back Stretch before I go to bed tonight!
One of the things which has been on my mind over the past week, is about getting help. Especially in the midst of this amazing challenge and being accountable to post daily, it is weighing heavily on my mind. Also, our family is experiencing a cascade of high-impact changes which is making me seek more creative ways of leveraging my time and energy.
One thing that I do every couple of months is to get help with house cleaning! Oh, and I pretty much do not iron. Basically, if it needs ironed, it goes to the dry cleaner. But then, I have very few clothes...that's a different article!
WHAT you get someone to do is the key! You want to choose labor-intensive tasks and not delegate high-value tasks to others outside your family. As my son grows, I see this even more strongly. Just a few months ago, I was totally planning on putting him into a one-day-a-week program so I could work on serving busy moms through Established Ways. Now, however, I find myself leaning more toward playgroups and friends and staying with him. After all, for what I would spend on a program, I could an admin, AND still get to be with my son.
It is common to rely on "screen time," babysitters and other methods of keeping our kids occupied or farmed out when we need a break, or are trying to get "chores" done. What about trading pizza and a movie for laundry service, and taking free time with your kids? Can you imagine never saying, "please just let me do this so it will be done" again?

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge: Day 4
Whew! I just got done doing my 15 minute workout. It was tough and energizing, like climbing a steep hill and discovering an awesome view! The T-tapp workout only takes 15 minutes, but by the time you get done, you feel like you have already been to the chiropractor, the massage therapist, the gym, and had a quick nap!
Teresa Tapp's book, Fit and Fabulous in Fifteen Minutes is a must if you're to understand why this workout is different. As an experienced exerciser, I know that form makes a difference. It is hard to stay in form on this workout. I definitely slipped up more than once, but I can still feel it. Plus, I am starting to get the hang of it!
Are you an experienced exerciser? Are you familiar with that burn that you get at about 35-40 minutes, where you can actually feel your metabolism boosting, and the warmth of a "second wind?" Well, with T-tapp, that happens within 15 minutes!
You know that infamous mommy pooch? Well, I have nice (ahem) fluffy one, and couldn't feel my abs for nearly year after having my son by cesarean. Even with months of some really great
"traditional" workouts last year, I still was feeling weak. Now, when I hear, "Hold that tummy in," I can actually do it! I feel young again, ha ha!
The beginning of the workout starts with the "Primary Back Stretch." (Boy it would have been nice to have right when my son was first born! It would have helped with the after effects of the anesthesia in my spine!) Now, I rarely miss a night doing a quick version of it before going to bed. Just doing that over the past several months has gained me the following benefits:
1. Noticeably deeper sleep
2. Easier to maintain good posture
3. Knee and hip problems greatly alleviated
4. TMJ symptoms and related fatigue manageable
5. "Bad days" with fibromyalgia or arthritis symptoms more manageable
6. Able to relieve migraine pain or increase stamina by stopping to do the stretch
This is the workout I am doing during our Fill Your Tank Challenge, and in 21 workouts in 30 days, that leaves.......
19 workouts remaining!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank Challenge: Day 3!
When I was fresh out of high school, I started learning how to pamper myself, take care of my skin and apply makeup more skillfully. I was inspired by a then up-and-coming leader in the direct sales/skin care industry. Over the years, taking care of myself in the beauty department became a very firmly entrenched habit.
Then I became a mom.
Showers became less frequent, and focused only on areas notorious for odor. At-home beauty treatments became a thing of the past. I found myself "too tired" to work on brows or nails. Moisturizer at night? Nah.
FAIL.
Words from a cosmetologist friend became my comfort in more recent days: "I just pluck a couple stray hairs when brushing my teeth at night..."
Streamlined beauty routines have become my friend:
1. Remove eye makeup
2. Cleanse and tone
3. Wear moisturizing mask and eye cream to bed
4. Rinse in the morning/apply puffy eye gel for a few minutes in the morning
5. Tinted moisturizer
6. Cream eye and cheek color
7. Liquid eye liner
8. Pressed mineral powder
9. Tinted lip balm with sunscreen and mascara.
I have learned to do it as fast as it took me to type those steps! By the way, everything I need for steps 1 to 4 are right by my sink in my bathroom in my clever mini pocket.
Steps 5 to 8 live in a small clear bag under the powder room/half bath sink off my kitchen.
My lip balm lives in my purse on my grip it. My finger is touching it here in this picture:
Can you tell I am a mom on the go?!

Fill Your Tank Challenge Day 2
My personal priority in our Fill Your Tank Challenge this month has to do with physical fitness and awareness. The truth is that poor emotional management often goes back to the physical. So here's the scoop on what my body was saying to me yesterday, and what I did to take care of myself. Be inspired!
By lunchtime yesterday, I was fighting a near-migraine level headache, hungry, and exhausted after a "crazy" week of exceptions. See what I did to keep myself on track for my busy evening last night.
Flat Your Back. This is a Filipino tradition, which is similar to a nap. The idea here is to get completely off your feet and, well, flat on your back, regardless of whether or not you actually sleep. For me, I do this when I am too tired to even do my focus tic-tac-toe. I find that it is the easiest way to get out of the "mom fog." My mind clears after about 10-15 minutes. What I realized yesterday, was that I was thirsty! Have you ever gotten so busy that you just didn't drink enough water?
Heat. When I lived and worked in China, I learned firsthand the value of avoiding ice, drinking hot, and keeping my body heat even. It has to do with our metabolism, but since I am not a health guru, lets just say that it is by experience only that I know it works to stay warm. Using this technique has frequently made the difference between being at a painful standstill and making it though the day alive for me! Being off this pattern in two particulars yesterday is the suspected cause of my having the headache episode in the first place: I was barelegged (i.e. cold legged!) in a relatively short dress, and had had nothing hot and soupy for breakfast. Although it seems counterintuitive going into the warm weather, it pays to stay in breathable layers, and to have a hot liquid breakfast! I used a moist heat pack on my neck, and made a Chinese breakfast soup for a late lunch and felt loads better by the end of the meal. Try it!
Neuro-kinetic Flow Improvement. I have recently found a fourth thing from the T-tapp fitness routine which makes a difference as well. It is called Primary Back Stretch, and just doing this without any repetitions alone relieved knee and hips pain for me, kept me "warm," and helped me sleep better. I will be talking about this throughout our challenge, and how it's helping me. I do one right before going to bed, and it helps me sleep better! As you can guess, I didn't miss doing it last night! On to the full workout later today!
My personal challenge is to work out 21 out of 30 days this month!

Busy Mama Fill Your Tank! Challenge Day One
If you have been an Established Ways reader for long, you know what we say is Your Number One Organizing To-Do.
In a recent conference call with a great mentor of mine, some areas that I have let slip came to my attention, AND personal and business changes have prompted me to ramp up in the personal management department so that I can GIVE more as a busy mompreneur! As you know, I say, "You can't give on empty!"
So, (drumroll, please) we are launching the First Annual Fill Your Tank Challenge today, and I hope you will join us! It's going to be so much fun!
My personal challenge this month is to work out 21 out of 30 days! I am going to be talking about a really cool workout that I have been getting a lot of benefits from, but we will also be talking about beauty routines, rest, recreation, hobbies, days off, and much much more.
To join, start by weighing in on what the one thing you want to do for yourself this month which will make a huge difference for you in all other areas. Just go to the comment section at the bottom, or post it on Facebook. Maybe you want to get yourself to bed on time, or maybe you want to wean yourself from caffeine. Maybe you, like me, have an area of clutter which is nagging you, and it would ease your mind if you simply took the time to knock it out this month!
Are you ready to make massive progress together this month? Here’s the kicker: All challenge contributors who comment either on the blog or my facebook fan page will be entered in a drawing for a free seat to our Busy Moms Group Coaching Virtual Event which starts May 1st!
Having at least one blog post daily is going to be a stretch for me personally, so I look forward to the motivation, accountability, and feedback I know you busy moms can give!
So, what are you going to do 21 out of 30 days this month that will make the biggest difference for you in getting organized and established, and how can I help?
